Whats on your mind today, Anon?
my day is going pretty well so far. getting some salad and soup from a friend later.
the food in the oven and the codemonkeying I'm doing
my brother/roommate suddenly ran away to leave the whole entire rent to me and there was just no way I was gonna convince someone to live in a 2 bedroom apartment with me and my other brother who has special needs. so I went bankrupt the landlord expects me to pay an extra month of my wages just to move out. my special needs brother is moving in with mom again and I will move in with dad because it's the only option close enough to my work but it almost seems like he is refusing to let me stay at his house. they have that boomer mindset of "adult children can't live with their parents wtf"

this place is such a ripoff anyway that bandage really needed to get torn off

wishing you the best of luck with all that anon
went to the european import store today. got tricked into trying a sample and buying it (overpriced)
I'm glad I will save a lot more money this fall and next year

HJ poster, I presume?
i slept all day so i kinda ruined my weekend, not that i planned to do anything of value anyway, but still. guess it's comfy night time then.
i went to work all week on 4 hours of sleep at max, the catch being that i slept during the day after i came home, stayed up all night, THEN went to work, and slept again when i came home. in all honesty it wasn't as bad as that sounds, and the tiredness you feel at 12pm is much the same as you get anyway. especially if you take a lunch break. as soon as you return to your work, you stare at your workplace thinking "yeah, i cannot do this."
not sure if i will keep up this sleep schedule or if i will return to the daily struggle of waking up at 6 and forcing myself to get out of bed.

Salaried or hourly? At my office once everyone on my team comes back from their lunches, collectively we're just like "yeah, we're just going to coast for the day" unless there's a specific deadline we have to fulfill
>>39
regular wage, so hourly.
but here it's more like that people have to fill a certain amount of hours per day, since it's the planning office of a more construction‐adjacent industry. so there are phone calls to answer, and generally there is a lot of work to do. everybody agrees though that coming back from lunch break is a pain in the ass :D

Oh neat! Yeah I can definitely see how that turns into a pain. I could only imagine trying to juggle clearing permits and getting new clients/requests after checking out for like an hour
