v1.1.0 - Not a mirage!

Hello everyone, once again! Almost 4 years later on the dot (how poetic),a newfound interest of moving to smaller spaces on the Internet has been becoming more common. With this in mind, I dusted off the old USB that held the code for Island Zero. Luckily, the Me from 2021^tm wrote some pretty nice code, but I've been spending the past few weeks modernizing the site and updating old dependencies. Should (You) decide to lurk or post, I hope that you enjoy your time here. Enough with the sappiness! Here's the cool stuff that changed:

New board! /lang/ - for all language learning and non-english discussions.
Linking to other boards, >>>/lang/ (but it actually works, not a hardcoded anchor like in the v1.0.0 post)
Revamped reporting system
Different SJIS font that renders art better
Entire frontend upheaval and facelift supported by Bootstrap (tack så mycket, Sven)

One month in, one big update. Reporting posts is now an option, and you can check if you are banned by going to this page. If you post and have received a warning or ban, you will also be redirected there. Now, with all the difficult things out of the way, QOL and UI updates as well as a mobile-friendly version of the site will be a priority.

v1.0.0 is released.

After a few hard months of work and tweaking code, Island Zero is finally ready for its first release. With it comes the following:

6 boards available - /a/, /mu/, /meta/, /pasta/, /un/, /v/
3 themes, 2 light & 1 dark [WIP]
>quoted text and >>300 linking to posts
spoiler tags, ASCII art and SJIS art
Creating threads, posting in threads, deleting your own posts
Custom default names other than 'Anonymous'
A cool, non-Google captcha

This is just the beginning as well, and there will be plenty of updates going forward. Right now the first goal is to polish the site a bit more, introduce pinned threads, a subset of HTML for posting, and any other suggestions from users. If you would like to submit ideas, suggestions, or art to improve the site, please do so by going to >>>/meta/.
